Great stuff and no so quick or "handsie"....Just FYI Studio One 6 has an edit grid for piano roll and drum notes as well as a humanize function. Using it in EZD is definitely prudent though.

I love EZDrummer but I switched to Addictive Drums just because it doesn't require any routing.

How do I get a Maschine mk3 to control EZ drummer in reaper?? I cannot figure this out.

Hey Sean! Hope you are doing well! One question: When using EZD3 with my Akai MPK249 everything works great, BUT: the first encoder knob wont map to some things. Like the master output, or random effects dials. It will work fine in EZ Keys 2, so its not a hardware issue. The endless encoder Knob01 sends out CC3. It works with most parameters, but not all. Do you have any idea for this weird behaviour? I reinstalled EZD3, etc. I also checked if the Knob is set to another setting on the Akai like INC/DEC or Aftertouch, but its not. Ok side note: It only does not work when Control Bank 1 is selected. in Bank 2 and 3 it works fine. Thats weird.....

Thanks for doing these tutorials. I'm new to EZ Drummer 3. I'm struggling with Bandmate so far. I'm putting in a lot of fast-strumming acoustic guitars, and nothing it recommends comes close to sounding good. Any suggestions? Might an expansion pack (like country) give me a wider menu of grooves it could recommend?

Anybody wanna program some stuff for me using Logic/Ezdrm. ..........holy smokes.....just had an awakening. You rock. Shawn! I knew some of that drum humanize stuff and obvious drummer impossible riffs but the way you explained it (I think you're a drummer, right?), Its perfection, So now, .....I have Logic Pro and EZdrummer and just beginning to understand. this shit. Thanks. ummm, I suppose I have to watch all your stuff now. So, I'm gonna have to make room watching Shogun and whatever movie I have seen 5 times on Netflix and write more hard stuff or anything for that matter. I'm almost 60yrs old ( I don't surf anymore or skate/snow.....my guitar will be in my coffin) Toontrack....yah, I suppose Ive only tapped into it about 1% ,lol. It has a lot of potential and your insight about programming. hmmm....well, gonna be busy for awhile watching your vids. Thanks, I will donate shortly. Did they finally add ARA2 support for DAWs other than Logic? They added ARA support for Logic in version 9, but then nothing for other DAWs. Ozone 10 and 11 were both a backward step for their mastering assistant. I have really touched neutron 4. The auto levelling module in nectar 4 is actually pretty useful of you want to ditch Waves vocal rider… all i have used in that suite though

You're very good. Points are clearly and concisely made.. The 'chapters' feature lets the user quickly find the answer to their particular situation, without having to 'surf' through the whole tutorial. You leave your ego out of the tutorial. Too many other tutorials, have too much time spent on the instructor making the video about themselves, and how 'smart' they are. You get to the point, and focus on delivering information. APPRECIATE THAT
